Realisations about our deep-seated childhood conditioning can be eye-opening, leading us to reassess and sometimes break free from long-held habits. I looked around and nobody had opened the gift hamper, at times food for contemplation, am i just a sum result of all the conditioning? hence the focus on to observe thinking, as long there is thinking, there is conditioning.

πŸ”„ A Shift in Perspective

An ingrained habit from childhoodβ€”not opening hampers and gifts immediatelyβ€”was almost an unspoken rule, a conditioning that I carried unconsciously for impulse control along with many other actions. 🧠 Understanding and Changing Conditioned Behaviours

Recognising this conditioning wasn't just about opening gifts sooner. It was symbolic of a larger process of identifying and altering behaviours and responding to the moment. It was about learning to live in the moment and appreciating life's small pleasures without preconceived models.

Breaking free from such ingrained habits can be liberating, allowing us to live more fully in the present and enjoy life's surprises as they come. πŸŒŸπŸ›οΈπŸšͺ
