Spirituality, especially facets like meditation and mysticism, has often seemed like a lotus to me. It dwells in the ordinary, yet somehow remains untouched. A certain uniqueness emanates from it. While my body and mind adhere to evolutionary and societal norms, thereβs this gapβthis subtle, potent space where awareness blooms.
π€ Pondering the Dichotomy: Being in the World but not Of It
The gap Iβve come to recognize isnβt a severance but a pause. It permits awareness, allowing me to oscillate between ordinary behavioral patterns and a detached, observant state. While the mind and body can entangle themselves within societyβs confines, that intermittent pause, that gapβit's vital. It becomes a sanctuary where remembering and practicing mindfulness turns key.
π² A Conscious Approach to Diet and Inflammation
In the same breath, Iβve noticed that mindfulness spills over into dietary choices. Like steering clear of fried food five days a weekβit's not merely a dietary choice but an informed, conscious decision, considering its inflammatory effects. It's not about restriction, but rather about balance.
