Satori strikes like lightning in the pitch black of night. Even if it lasts just for a brief moment, it illuminates the landscape, providing a glimpse into the nature of existence, just the trees, or just the lake, a quick greenery, a figure, a face, just before our mind can process, the visual impression disappears.
π§ The Mystic's Invitation
As a mindfulness teacher, or as mystics across traditions, one of the most intriguing tasks is to seduce seekers into a state of 'no-mind,' even if just for five seconds, which would seem boring and unnatural. Itβs within that gap the clarity of the innery journey truly begins for the seeker.
π€οΈ The Path Unfolds
Once that seed of awareness is planted like in the movie inception, it's up to the seeker to cultivate and reproduce it. The taste of satori, that sudden awakening, can become the guiding star and reference for their spiritual adventure.
This momentary flash of insight can be incredibly transformative. It's about creating an environment where those brief instances of enlightenment are possible and then stepping back to let the seekers pave their own paths. β‘π§ ποΈ
