Embracing Life's Uncertainties π¬οΈπ
[86] On Parenthood π¨βπ©βπ¦π
Bringing a child into this world is not merely a decision; it's a lifelong commitment. The joy lies in the small momentsβseeing your offspring safe and well-fed. My mother was the only person who consistently checked on me until I reached Bangalore.
[87] Finding Presence in Chaos π§ββοΈπͺοΈπ

[88] The Call of the Mountains ποΈποΈπ£
I chose to spend a month in Himachal. Despite being advised against traveling post-June, places like Dharmkot and BIR appeared relatively safe. This confidence was bolstered by Himachal's travel advisories from friends who had traveled earlier, assurances from hostel owners and staff, and tales of zen masters meditating using earthquakes and challenging situations as an excuse to move the attention inward.
[89] Nature's Wrath ππͺοΈβ‘
The early days of July presented challenges. Recurrent rain led to power outages and water shortages, making work quite challenging. However, in the face of such adversities, one can unearth a profound tool for mindfulness. The unpredictable nature of these events keeps you anchored in the present, highlighting the impermanence of everything.
[90] Observations in Transit ππππ
While long transit wait time in Delhi, I observed the democratization of air travel as people from diverse backgrounds waited at the airport. The atmosphere turned somber when flights were canceled. Without backup plans, many were left stranded, unable to seek shelter at the airport as they might at railway stations.
