#237πŸš— Your Rearview Mirror: A Reminder to Live in the Present πŸ•°οΈ

The rearview mirror πŸš— isn't just a tool for safe driving; it's a small reminder to keep us in the here and now, rather than dwelling on the past. It's also one of the simple exercises I include in my workshops to help us gauge where our thoughts reside – in the past or the future.

This reminds me of my college days and a classmate, Jisha πŸŽ“. She used to analyze handwriting, and once she pointed out something fascinating about mine. She noticed a slight backward tilt in my handwriting, suggesting that I tend to live in the past πŸ“.

But here's the beauty of it: our handwriting can change over time, just as we can change our habits. So, I took that as a cue to work on living more in the present. It still has a slight backward tilt 🌼.

You see, when we're too caught up in replaying the memories of the past, we tend to miss out on the beauty of the current moment. Mindfulness is like a gentle nudge, urging us to savor the present, to be here, now 🌟.

So, the next time you adjust your rearview mirror, take a moment to reflect not only on the road behind you but also on the road ahead and the present moment you're driving through.
